Year 6 have thought up their own project to raise funds for their leaver's trip to Camelot

The children of Year 6 have recently been busy learning about a business plan to raise income for their leaver's trip. They have thought of costs, profit and gross and net!
The event was a fun extravaganza, but they had to plan and organise everything. They had eight different stalls and activities which they thought might be fun for the younger children. Each class had the opportuntity to visit the event and spend a little money whilst having fun.

The children organised stalls such as tattoos and nail painting, splatting the Headteacher, a raffle, a mystery prize stall, pound in the bucket and a cake stall amongst others. Children either asked others to bake or baked themselves.
They managed to raise £295 in profit after deducting their costs which was a fabulous result.
I would like to thank all children who contributed after having a special "Come As You Like Day" to raise donations from our supportive parents.

A popular cake stall.

A less popular headteacher - but it did raise a good deal of income!
