JUJITSU
The jujitsu lessons on Tuesday evenings began again yesterday, Tuesday 9th January at 6.15pm in the hall and will continue each Tuesday. New starters in all classes are welcome as there is some availability. Please turn up on a Tuesday, or contact the school for any details if you new members are interested.
ROSEMARY CONLEY DIET AND FITNESS CLASSES
Each Wednesday evening at Euxton Primrose Hill, there will be two new Rosemary Conley diet and fitness classes starting tonight, 11th January 2012. Please see the separate leaflet for further information.
ZUMBA FITNESS SESSIONS
Sue Ashton is starting her very popular Zumba Fitness Sessions again each Thursday, starting this Thursday 12th January 2012. Please see the attached flyer for further details.
SATS
As usual we request that parents do not take their child/ren out of school for holidays leading up to the SATS tests, especially if your child is in Year 6, as work this term and the beginning of next is based on preparing your child/ren for these examinations. Year 6 SATS will take place during the week of 14th-18th May (all the other Junior classes in school will also be taking their non-statutory SATS tests this week as well) and Year 2 will be completing their SATS over the half term from Easter to the Spring Bank Holiday.
PTFA MEETING
There will be a meeting of the PTFA next Tuesday, 17th January at 6.10pm in school. Please attend if you can, as this meeting will discuss future events planned by the PTFA.

WALKING BUS
Just to remind you that the Walking Bus is available every day and is currently very healthily attended. Children seem to be enjoying the social life it offers each morning. A member of staff (usually Mr Shields or Miss Tallis) will arrive at Spar at approximately 8.25am and leave promptly at 8.30am for school. If you wish your child to join ‘the bus’, please inform Mr Shields.
