Maths in Elm Class Y2 - Multiplication

The start of our topic on multiplication this week included lots of opportunities to use our counters and make arrays. 
 

It was brilliant when we all had a go at some true or false questions, like 

5+5 = 2+2+2+2+2.  We eventually created arrays and noticed 2 groups of 5 was the same as 5 groups of 2.
