Science experiments and exploding books in Everest.

Since returning to school on the 8th March, Year 6 have been working incredibly hard on their Science topic understanding the Circulatory System. We’ve completed some pulse experiments to understand why our heart works faster when we exercise, and have learnt about how to keep our body healthy. This week the children were tasked with making representations of blood; they had to justify and reason what was needed and explain the functions of each component. In addition, they wrote a fantastic narrative in role as a red blood cell, on their journey through the body. Finally, they finished their exploding books combining their art skills with research to inform how to stay healthy. I have been so impressed with their creativity and hard work. Well done Everest!
