Pendle trip to Chester
Today Pendle Class had a fantastic time learning all about Roman life in Britain and how to be a Roman soldier.
The children started with training to be a soldier and were given armour and a shield each. They marched to the nearby amphitheatre where they learnt different formations.
At the museum they learnt about the fortress in Chester, Roman food, games they played, making mosaics and Roman buildings.
