Science Week – Visit from Mrs Sykes
In keeping with Science Week, both Year 3 classes were very excited to have a visit from Mrs Sykes to talk to us about her very STEM-oriented job. We learned all about the processes and machines that take recycled paper and reform it into new paper. We found out that just one roll of paper made at Mrs Sykes’ work would unroll all the way from Manchester to London and that all the paper made there in a year would wrap around the world TWENTY times!
