Artist visit in Snowdon class

Snowdon class were very lucky and excited to have an artist come to work with them today. Lucy Wray is a mixed media artist from Euxton who takes inspiration from the natural world and local wildlife. She uses recycled materials to create her amazing creations. Her work links nicely with our study of collage and the techniques used to create it. Lucy gave us lots of  tips and ideas. We worked to create a bird inspired by the techniques she uses. We will go on to incorporate these skills in our own river collages over the next few sessions.  Thank you so much for spending time with us Lucy!

Lucy currently has an exhibition of her work at St Lawerence’s church in Chorley.
