Autumn Art in Snowdon Class
Over the last few days, we have been looking closely at the changing season and thinking about how we can show this through our art work. We looked at work completed by Monet, Georgia O’Keefe and David Hockney and discussed colour, composition, texture and how the paintings made us feel. We then went on an Autumnal walk through the forest area to look closely for signs of changes, children then carefully selected a number of leaves to study. Using a range of pencils they completed still life drawings. We will now work these into a mixed media piece using water colour paints, chalk and oil pastels!
