Stone Age Day - making food and jewellery
Another activity the children took part in during Stone Age Day was making Stone Age jewellery and Stone Age cookies. The children used salt dough to make their own stylish necklaces! Stone Age people used bones and animal teeth for their jewellery so the children shaped the salt dough into similar shapes. They also followed a recipe to make oat cookies. Not everybody was keen on the finished biscuit!
