Our Apple Successes

We are proud to be recognised as an Apple Distinguished School, celebrating our commitment to innovation, creativity, and excellence in teaching and learning. Through the continued development of Apple technology, we empower students to collaborate, create, and think critically in meaningful ways both in and beyond the classroom. We also actively support other schools and the wider community, sharing best practice and inspiring others in their digital journeys. This page celebrates our achievements and the impact of our evolving digital vision.

Strengthening Practice Through Collaboration and Mentorship

Building on our commitment to innovation and inclusive practice, Euxton Primrose Hill Primary School has played a key role in supporting other schools to successfully integrate Apple technology into teaching and learning. Through a programme of mentorship, collaboration and professional dialogue, we have worked alongside a range of schools at different stages of their digital journey.

Staff from several schools have visited to observe iPad use in action across the curriculum, gaining first-hand insight into how technology can enhance engagement, creativity and independence. These visits have been complemented by structured meetings with our Senior Leadership Team, Computing Lead and School Technician, enabling leaders to explore strategic implementation, device management and sustainable approaches to embedding technology within school systems.

Our Computing Lead has also extended this support beyond our setting, visiting partner schools to work directly with their computing leads. This has included reviewing and developing their computing curriculum, modelling effective classroom practice and demonstrating how Apple technology can be used purposefully to support learning outcomes across a range of subjects.

The schools we have supported represent a diverse range of starting points. Some were beginning their journey with Apple technology and required guidance on initial setup, pedagogy and classroom routines. Others were seeking to deepen their practice, exploring ways to integrate iPad use more consistently into daily teaching and to maximise the impact of built-in accessibility features and creative apps.

Through this collaborative approach, we have helped to build confidence, develop expertise and inspire innovative practice. These partnerships have fostered a growing network of schools committed to leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning, ensuring that all pupils benefit from engaging, inclusive and forward-thinking educational experiences.

Empowering Every Voice Through Enhanced Provision

In September 2025, Euxton Primrose Hill Primary School established its own internal enhanced provision for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans, who were unable to fully access the mainstream curriculum or classroom environment.

Apple technology has been integral in supporting communication, independence and pupil voice. Through the use of accessibility features and creative apps such as ChatterPix, pupils have been able to communicate, express their ideas and share their learning in ways that were previously inaccessible.

One pupil, who was previously non-verbal, used ChatterPix to bring a leaf to life and recorded the word "leaf" for the first time. This moment became a significant milestone in his communication journey, and he has since continued to develop his spoken language with increasing confidence.

Accessibility features including Speak Selection, Voice Control, Guided Access, Dictation and visual supports have been personalised to individual pupil targets, enabling all learners to participate, communicate and demonstrate understanding in ways that meet their individual needs.

The impact of this work has been shared widely with the education community. Over twenty teachers and leaders from a range of schools have visited, to observe how Apple technology, alongside high-quality teaching and a deep understanding of individual needs, can remove barriers to learning and empower every child to find their voice.

These visits have led to the formation of a collaborative network of schools committed to sharing inclusive practice, accessibility strategies and innovative approaches to supporting pupils with additional needs.

Our Podcast - Primrose Hill Pulse

Our school podcast provides a powerful platform for pupils to share their ideas, stories, and perspectives with a wider audience. Led entirely by the children, it builds confidence, creativity, and communication skills as they plan, record, and produce each episode. Through this initiative, our learners take ownership of their voices and develop real-world media skills, showcasing their talents beyond the classroom.
