Assessment & Results

Our Results

At Euxton Primrose Hill Primary School, we are proud of the achievements of every child.

Assessment is an important part of learning. It helps us to celebrate success, identify next steps and ensure that every pupil receives the support and challenge they need to flourish.

Whilst national assessments provide valuable information about pupils' attainment, they are just one part of a child's journey. We believe that education is about developing confident, resilient and curious learners who are well prepared for secondary school and for life beyond Primrose Hill.

National Assessments

Throughout their time at primary school, pupils take part in a number of statutory national assessments, including:

  • Reception Baseline Assessment
  • Year 1 Phonics Screening Check
  • Multiplication Tables Check (Year 4)
  • Key Stage 2 SATs (Year 6)

These assessments help us understand how pupils are progressing and ensure that every child continues to receive the very best education.

Celebrating Success

At Primrose Hill, success is measured in many different ways.

Alongside strong academic outcomes, we celebrate kindness, resilience, creativity, confidence and a love of learning. Our aim is for every child to leave us equipped with the knowledge, skills and values they need to thrive at secondary school and beyond.
