Welcome to Snowdon Class. Year 4 is an exciting year as children continue to develop their skills, confidence and independence in Lower Key Stage 2. It is a year full of exciting opportunities, engaging lessons and memorable experiences.

In Snowdon Class, we work closely alongside Ben Nevis Class, our other Year 4 class, to provide a consistent and enriching learning experience. Through shared activities, projects and events, we foster a strong sense of community across Year 4.

Throughout the year, children will continue to build their reading, writing and maths skills through a broad and engaging curriculum. Lessons encourage curiosity, creativity and teamwork, with opportunities for discussion, investigation and practical learning.

Year 4 offers lots of exciting opportunities beyond the classroom. One of the highlights is our whole-class brass programme, where every child learns a brass instrument. These lessons help to develop confidence, perseverance and teamwork, while giving children the chance to experience the enjoyment of making music together.

Snowdon Class is taught by Mrs Bullock, who is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential and develop a love of learning.

We aim to create a positive and supportive classroom environment where children feel valued, motivated and ready to succeed. Alongside academic achievement, we place great importance on developing responsibility, resilience and positive friendships.

We believe that a strong partnership between school and home is key to helping children thrive, and we value open communication with parents and carers throughout the year.

We look forward to sharing a fantastic year of learning, growth and achievement with all the children in Snowdon Class.
