Ciao – European Languages Day in Elm Class
We had great fun today learning all about Italy and learning to speak un poco Italiano !
We started the day learning to say a few words
ciao (that is hello and bye )
Mi chiamo (my name is)
And we even counted 1……..2………3
We then learned about famous landmarks in Italy , and we made our own models of the Leaning Tower of Pisa !
In the afternoon we learned about carnivals in Venice and we made our own Carnivale Masks !
