Pupils with a Disability

Following the recent expansion of Euxton Primrose Hill Primary School, the school now has two main buildings that are connected by steps and a link corridor. For pupils that have a physical disability and who may not be able to use the steps, a lift has been installed in order to enable access. Externally, ramp access is available at the front of school offering external access to the eight classrooms and hall that are situated in the lower building.

Facilities are provided for particular needs e.g. disabled toilets and showering facilities, special sized furniture, footrests, laptops, sound systems, handrails in toilets, desk rests etc.

The school will regularly review its Disability Equality Scheme and Accessibility Plan to ensure full inclusion to all members of its school community.
