The Star Dome visits Elm Class

We had an amazing morning last week when Mr Lunn brought his Star Dome to the school hall

We all agreed that it looked spectacular from the outside , and we couldn’t wait to crawl inside .

It was very dark so Miss Pearson couldn’t take very many pictures, but we learned all about the constellations and the planets, and a little bit about Neil Armstrong .  We had a planets quiz against Mr Lunn and we won !

One of our Class impressed Mr Lunn so much with their knowledge of the planets that he said we were the best Class ever to visit his star dome.

He told us all about the constellation called the big bear, and when we crawled out we had to go and look for it.

It seems like the big bear was a very naughty bear as it had been in our classroom and eaten Miss Pearson’s fruit !

Big Bear couldn’t spellvery well, but he left us a message to show us he had been in our classroom!
