Sports hall Athletics competition Years 3 and 4
Congratulations to the team, who were so positive with each other and demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm. The track and field events happened simultaneously and everyone needed to be focused so they didn’t miss their turn. Everyone gave of their best and showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the event and they should all be very proud of themselves.
The results were extremely close with only a couple of points between schools. We competed against six other schools although we are competing against twenty eight schools in total and the heats will run until January. It is only then that we will know our final placing. However, tonight we did come seventh out of seven but this does not reflect some of the superb performances that Mrs.Grattan and I saw. Well done everyone and many thanks to all the parents this evening for lifts, support and words of encouragement for the team.
