African Art in Elm Class

We have been starting our Art project looking at the textures and patterns found in African Art.

Miss Pearson showed us some Adinkra symbols which are used on African clothes and cloth and we tried to design our own.

And then we designed a printing block !

We had great fun making our designs, using brusho to colour wash the backgrounds before printing with printing inks.
