Maple class Diwali day
Wow! Maple class had fun during their Diwali day.
We had a special visitor who came to school to teach us all about Diwali and to help us learn about respect.
We discussed how each of us is different and similar which led to a conversation about how we treat people who may look differently or believe in different religions.
Then it was time to put on our waistcoats and skirts that had come all the way from India!
We had so much fun and learnt a lot about respecting each other.
