World Book Day in Maple class
Wow! What a fantastic day we’ve had today!
The children worked hard at home decorating a potato to look like their favourite character from a book and today they brought them into school. We were so impressed with all of them.

The winner from Maple class, chosen by staff throughout the school (what a hard job!) received a £5 book token to spend.
Throughout the morning, the children enjoyed reading The Day the Crayons Quit. We wrote letters to Duncan, the character in the story, asking him to help the crayons as some of them were a little fed up.
