Welcome to Oak Class!

Our school day starts at 8.40am and finishes at 3.00pm. The children go for lunch at 11.40pm and are back into class for 12.40pm. We love it when you walk to school, not only does it keep you fit and healthy but you can also earn badges for walking to school too! We share our huge classroom and outdoor area with Beech class. Our outdoors is always open in all weather, so we ask the children to bring in wellies and waterproofs (named) to enable children to enjoy all of our outdoor areas. 

Children can bring in a water bottle only containing water, no cordial or juices. We ask if these could be labelled with their name as we sometimes get children with the same bottles. Children can access their water bottle at any time of the day apart from carpet inputs (15 minutes AM and PM). 

We have P.E every Friday morning. Children will need a plain white t-shirt, black shorts and white sole trainers in a draw string bag (all labelled with a name). P.E kits will be sent home to be washed at the end of every term.  We encourage children to dress themselves independently, so its important they can do up their buttons if wearing a shirt/trousers.

Just to let you know I (Miss Blackwell) will be on my PPA on Thursday afternoons so Mrs Rigby(HLTA) will be in class to cover me on that afternoon.
