European Day of Languages in Pendle
Pendle Class enjoyed learning all about Denmark as part of European Day Of Languages. The children researched and created a fact file for Denmark, learnt all about Hans Christian Andersen and compared his fairytales to the a Disney version. They also enjoyed learning some Danish words and recorded these into a keynote presentation. Finally we learnt all about Hugge which is the Danish practise of being cosy and comfortable. We enjoyed hot chocolate while wearing slippers and listened to peaceful music!
