Stone Age Day - Fire Lighting
As part of our Stone Age Day, the children in year 3 got to experience making fire! The children used fire steels rather than actual flint stone but still had to create a spark by striking the metal. Despite the wind and rain, all the children persevered and did a great job. They finished the activity with toasted marshmallows to celebrate.
