Pendle Class Geography fieldwork Formby coast

Pendle Class had a fantastic geography fieldwork trip to Formby coast. We learnt about different wildlife in Formby including the rare natterjack toad and the red squirrel. We enjoyed walking up the sand dunes and going into the pine woods. Ranger Julie also taught us about erosion and sea defences. The day ended with a trip to Southport Eco Centre where we ate our lunch in the eco garden and recycled our rubbish. Of course, our favourite part of the trip was beach play, what a brilliant day was had by all!
