    Year 6 are certainly looking dapper in their leaver hoodies. We would like to say a huge thanks to Mrs Swires for organising and also the PTFA for funding. The children look fantastic in their jumpers and are looking forward to wearing them this weekend at Boreatton.

    On Tuesday, Olympus had a great time experimenting with circuits. They investigated their own ‘What would happen if…’ and worked together to find an answer. Lots of great teamwork, collaboration and cooperation.

    Well done to Snowdon class. The children completed their sports day activities in the lovely sunshine yesterday.  Team spirit and determination was definitely on show. You did yourselves proud. Go team Snowdon!

    Ash class had a wonderful time this morning, taking part in the ‘ Bog Eyed Jog’.

  • Pendle Class learning about teeth!

    Today Pendle Class started their Science topic looking at the digestive system. Just like  the digestive system, we started with the teeth! The children were given three different objects, a pair of scissors, a cocktail stick and a Lego brick, to represent the different types of teeth. The children had to work out how each object could break up food.

    What a great time we had this morning raising money for school.  We were all “bog eyed” as we got up early and came to school in our pyjamas! It was great fun and up to now the school have raised over £1900 !

    Year 3 children had an early start this morning, taking part in our Bog Eyed Jog to raise money for our new running track. All the children did a fantastic job with most running over a mile. They definitely earned the delicious croissants afterwards! 

  • Year 1 Mobile farm visit

    Ash class and Cedar class had a wonderful time today. They saw a calf, ducklings, rabbits, chickens, kids and a prize pig. Marion and Ben explained the different names of the baby animals and they all got to stroke them all..... if they wanted to. There were some excellent answers to the animal quiz, including ,“ that a baby rabbit is called a kitten”, what a group of super stars 🌟.

  • Football Development in Snowdon

    What a sporty day we’ve had! After our early morning jog, the children were lucky enough to have a session with Matt from the football development team.  He helped them through some healthy eating activities then took them onto the field to develop football skills. He was really impressed with how polite the children were, he also commented on the team work and determination he saw. Super job team Snowdon!
