Reception Christmas Week

We started off our week with a Christmas party. We loved dancing, playing pass the parcel, musical statues and corners. Throughout the week we did lots of wonderful Christmas crafts, watched the pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk and had a live story from Father Christmas who then came to visit us on Friday!

We wish all the children and their families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Love everyone in EYFS team x

Snowdon class have worked so hard on their money containers, they have designed and made wallets and purses with special people in mind. They are all very pleased with their final products.

Y6 Party Day

Year 6 have had a fabulous day celebrating the end of term. This morning we watched the fantastic Jack in the Beanstalk pantomime. There was lots of laughter, cheers and fantastic songs! After lunch the children went into the lower hall for a Mini disco and some party games. It was so lovely to celebrate as a class.

Y3 Pendle Christmas Party Day

Today year 3 had a great day filled with fun and games for our Christmas Party Day. The class enjoyed a Christmas film in the morning and then went into the hall in the afternoon for dancing and games.

Year 6 Everest - Soup Making

For the past two days, Year 6 have been using their best culinary skills to create their final DT project - soup. Over the past half term we have focused on food, exploring seasonality, sustainability, the ‘Eat Well Plate’ and finally designing and making a soup. The recipes were fantastic and incorporated some fabulous ingredients - they smelt and tasted delicious. The children learnt and showcased some fantastic culinary skills; well done to Year 6 and a huge thanks to Mrs Swansbury who helped us!

Year 2 enjoy Party Day

Today was party day for Year 2, and we certainly showed that we know how to let our hair down and enjoy ourselves ! We had great fun dancing and playing games and we had lots of spot winners . We all looked great in our Christmas Party clothes and we had lots of fun!

After our work on puppets earlier this term we thought we would put all our skills together to make a Christmas Decoration. We had to remember our sewing skills and our sticking skills too!

This week was really important in Ben Nevis Class as we celebrated Euxton Primrose Hill turning 50! To learn more about life over the past few years and how things have changed, children were all given a decade to research. With this information, children created some fantastic presentations all about their decade!
