  • Year 5 Lego workshop - Mars

    Year 5 had a fantastic time using Lego to investigate levers, gears and pulleys when creating systems to move and crush rocks on Mars. There was a lot of teamwork, collaboration, determination and creativity on display as well as a lot of smiles!

  • Science investigation in Snowdon class

    I challenged the children to find out wether having longer thigh bones affected the length someone could jump in our science session. The children devised a fair test, carried out their activity and then went on to collect and analyse their data. They found that some of the shortest people had the longest jump!

  • KS 2 Magnificent Easter Bonnet Parade

    It’s one of my favourite days of the year! It was fantastic to see such an array of amazing bonnet ideas. Our parade is just one of the many things that makes our school so special. Many thanks to the children and carers for all of their efforts. There were even a few ‘bigger’ chicks in our parade this year! #Proud to be Primrose!

    There was a fantastic array of Easter hats in Pendle Class today. Well done to everyone who took part, they were all amazing. 

  • Congratulations to the Netball Team

    Tonight, the netball team completed their league matches. They showed tremendous sportsmanship and teamwork, to come top of their league and make it through to the finals. Well done team and coach.

  • EYFS - Messy maps of our journey around Euxton.

    After our visit around our local area, we made a large map together where we stuck on all the buildings and features we passed. We discussed our route and used positional language to talk through our journey. The children created their own messy map and used different resources to represent the different features. 

  • Easter hats in Cedar Class

    What an amazing array of Easter hats were on show in Cedar Class this morning. Well done everyone who took part. There were some super Spring chickens in the hall too.

    It was very tricky to choose a winner!

     

  • Reception - Easter fun

    Fun packed week before Easter! Reception enjoyed making chocolate cornflake cakes, parading around our track in our Easter bonnets, creating Easter pictures and gardens.

  • Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

    After reading the story Fish by Brendan Kearney  and The Life of a little cardboard box and plastic bottle, the children were inspired to make their own posters to encourage people to recycle and save our animals.
